PPM

The PostPressManagement System (PPM) centralises all production lines in the mailroom on a master level. The concept supports central production planning, control and monitoring, and guarantees the best possible utilisation of mailroom capacity. All relevant data for supplement management, route-matched production and distribution is requested by the server and, after being automatically prepared for newspaper production, is sent to the separate LineMaster line control systems. PPM guarantees full flexibility. Intervention is possible at any time while the process is running, with the knock-on effect on follow-up production remaining fully transparent. All processes are logged, and can be traced back in detail if required.
