The UniDrum gatherer-stitcher drum produces at minimum costs per copy while ensuring high efficiency across all circulation bands. The system is simple, quick to reset, and reaches the maximum 36,000-cph speed in next to no time. Thanks to precision servomotors, the entire system resets automatically to preset values. The parameters for each specific job can be saved and called up for repeat orders at the touch of a button. Thanks to the rotary concept, production speeds remain unaffected by product length. So as the format size increases, the strengths of the UniDrum become more apparent. The drum body can be fitted with up to nine (UniDrum 340) or seven infeeds (UniDrum 420) fed either manually, or automatically off logs and MultiDisc.
